Designing and manufacturing CNC copying technology for auxiliary mechanical industry.
Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City has set up a council to accept and evaluate the City-level Science and Technology Project "Designing and manufacturing CNC copier technology for the auxiliary mechanics industry of Can Tho City", a project led by Dr. Nguyen Huu Cuong is the project leader and Can Tho University is the lead agency for the Project implementation.
The objective of the Project is to successfully design a position control system with CNC technology capable of learning and repeating trajectories in the XY work plane with external guidance (copying) to simplify process used, suitable for many objects, serving the promotion of auxiliary mechanical development in the Mekong Delta.
Over the period of the Project, the research team said, it has successfully manufactured CNC copy technique for cutting and welding machine of steel plates, based on the principle of coordinates that bypass the design stage on CAD / CAM. ; developing a navigation sensor system that allows to learn the coordinates of the cutting / welding heads; developing interpolation solutions for boundary forms, allowing learning and control to perform cutting / welding basic and complex boundary forms; successfully built a model of CNC plasma cutting machine in suspended form with integrated guiding system for cutting head, automatically outputs NC-code from learned coordinates and controls the cutting machine according to the program.
The project's product is a CNC machine integrated with copying technology that has met the requirements set out from the Project, the machine is able to learn the shape coordinates of the sample, processing this data into a processing command. CNC, which allows the operator to issue commands directly to a processing machine or store it as a file. In addition, the device can be expanded to fit with some other processing machines.
The Council highly appreciates the practicality that the Project brings and unanimously approved.
